A Roaring Decade Of Trends

The 1920's was a great time of change and optimism for the people of the United States after the end of World War One. The economy was booming during this decade, social customs and morals took a turn, and a revolution occurred across the country.  Western fashion changed greatly after the war and became more modern; clothing became more comfortable and less restricting for people. As women gained the right to vote and joined the work force, clothing was more relaxed and people became more carefree. Everything during this period looked as though it was rising, from the financial market, to hair and skirt lengths. During the beginning of the 1920's, the new changes were adapting slowly, but the styles soon became accepting and were greatly corresponding with the Roaring Twenties.
